Control Centre

Summary

The Control Centre is the central hub of the PurePro application, where users can perform tasks such as closing a billing period, opening a new period, sending payslips, and more.
The Control Centre displays a list of tasks available to users, based on the data in the system for a specific period. Tasks are only visible when relevant data exists for that period; not all tasks are shown at all times.
The general layout of the control centre is same across all different types of tasks: -
  • Progress Bar: - Displays the progress of completed tasks, e.g., X tasks completed out of Y available tasks.
  • Period: - Displays the period for which the Control Centre data is being shown.
  • Current Period: - Used to navigate to current period in the control centre.
  • Select All Tasks: - Used to select all available “to-Do” tasks all together.
  • Complete Tasks: - Used to complete selected tasks.
  • Refresh: - Used to refresh the control centre to update data based on current period.
  • To Do: - Shows a list of pending tasks that can be completed by the user(s).
  • Processing – Logs: - Shows the logs for each task being completed under the control centre.
  • Completed: - Shows the list of all completed tasks in the control centre.
Users can reset certain control centre jobs to process outstanding payroll jobs. Users can "Finalise Payroll" to prevent further payments from being processed in the current payroll period, however this task can be "reset" from the control centre.
To reset a task from control centre, follow these steps: -
    Navigate and expand to Control Centre from the home screen
    Find the required task to reset
    Click on "Reset" button against the task in "Completed" list
"Finalise Payroll" can be reset when FPS has not been completed, users can also reset "BACS" if FPS has not been submitted. Alternatively, users can reset "BACS" and then reset "Finalise Payroll" if no other task has been marked as "complete" for current payroll period.
Please note, FPS (Final Payment Submission) once closed, cannot be reset. To make any amendments on FPS, please refer to  🔨FPS Adjustment⁠  guide.
It is only possible to reset "Finalise Payroll" and "BACS" from the control centre, any other tasks once marked as "complete" cannot be reset.

Task Dependency

Some Control Centre tasks are dependent on other tasks and cannot be completed without completing the parent task(s) first.
