Holiday Take In Days

Holiday Take In Days allows user to set up a holiday scheme so workers can be paid their entitled holiday units in Days instead of Hours.
This feature applies to hourly holiday schemes only.

Setup

Users will need to configure holiday take in days for each holiday hourly scheme if required.
    Add configuration for a custom backing data field with reference called ‘Days Worked’
    Holiday Scheme – enable ‘Take In Days’ setting.
    Billing Scheme – add the Days Worked to the backing data and set to active.
Holiday Take in Days is based on “Days Worked” custom backing data and is required to process holidays with units as "Days".
To setup "Holiday Take In Days" custom backing data, follow these steps:
    Navigate to Admin -> Backing Data
    Create New custom backing data
    Set Reference as “Days Worked”
    Add desired Description
    Set type as "Decimal"
    Click Save
    Navigate to Admin -> Billing Scheme
    Edit the required Billing Scheme
    In the “Custom Backing Data” section
    Add “Days Worked” backing Data
    Mark as “Active” and select other parameters as required
    Click Update

Process

After configuring the holiday and billing scheme, users can add timesheet with required backing data to process holidays and payments in days.
Users will need to provide the number of days an employee has worked. To add this information, follow these steps:
    Create a timesheet for a worker with pay amount
    Add “Days Worked” backing data in decimal format
    Save the timesheet
To process a holiday payment in day units, follow these steps:
    Navigate to Payroll → Payments
    Click on "Create New"
    Find the worker for which holiday payment is to be processed
    From the available rates, select "Holiday Paid (Hourly)"
    Click "Add Row" under transactions
    Add required information
    Click Save
Employee's holiday payment is processed in "Days" instead of "Hours".
When a transaction row is created, the input of days is automatically filled by day units available
