PurePro allows employers, add and manage KIT (Keep In Touch) Days, which allows employees on maternity leave to work up to 10 days without losing their maternity leave benefits or pay.
Adding Keep In Touch Days
To add Keep In Touch (KIT) days for a worker, follow these steps:
Navigate to Payroll → Payment
Edit the required Statutory Maternity Pay by clicking on "Edit" against the payment under "Action"
Click on "Add KIT Day" under "Absence History"
Add relevant data, as required
Click "Save"
Users can quickly search for payments in previous deductions by adding worker's name in search bar → click enter → select "Show All" in "Period"

Users can add multiple Keep In Touch Days by selecting a longer period.
Deleting Keep In Touch Days
To delete a previously added KIT (Keep In Touch) day, follow these steps:
Navigate to Payroll → Payment
Edit the required Statutory Maternity Pay by clicking on "Edit" against the payment under "Action"
Click on "Delete KIT Day" against the "KIT Day" under "Absence History"

When processing Keep In Touch Days for a worker, PurePro application, automatically processes an absence for the worker against the related period.
