Timesheet On Hold

PurePro allows users to temporarily pause the processing of timesheets. This feature enables users to place timesheets on hold for further review, clarification, or adjustments before they are processed for payroll. It helps ensure accuracy and allows for better control over the timesheet approval and processing workflow.
PurePro supports Timesheet Hold in 2 ways:
Hold from Payroll
Hold from Payroll prevents a timesheet from being processed by payroll processor, i.e. the worker will not be paid against this timesheet. However any associated invoice can be generated if timesheet has bill rate.
To enable Hold from Payroll, follow these steps: -
    Navigate to Timesheet → Timesheets
    Edit the required Timesheet
    Enable "Hold from Payroll" in the "Details" tab
    Click "Update"

Timesheets on hold from payroll only apply to timesheet pay rate.
Hold from Invoicing
Hold from Invoicing prevents a timesheet from being processed by invoice processor, i.e. the worker will not be invoiced against this timesheet. However any associated payslips/remittances can be generated if timesheet has pay rate.
To enable Hold from Payroll, follow these steps: -
    Navigate to Timesheet → Timesheets
    Edit the required Timesheet
    Enable "Hold from Invoicing" in the "Details" tab
    Click "Update"
Timesheets on hold from invoicing only apply to timesheet bill rate.
Users can select both "Hold from Payroll" and "Hold from Invoicing" for the same timesheet as per their requirements.
If a timesheet is on "Hold from Payroll" and/or "Hold from Invoicing" and the payroll period has been closed, the timesheets will not be processed as part of the closed period. However, users can navigate to previous period and un hold the timesheet as required to process in the following period.
