Rolled Up Holidays
PurePro supports payroll managers process "Rolled Up" holidays, which allows processing holiday payments in the same period as they are accrued.
In Rolled Up holidays, a holiday payment is generated by the PurePro application as soon as the worker is paid and has accrued holidays, in accordance with the holiday scheme.
Rolled Up holiday schemes are configured as real time accrual and hourly units. These configurations cannot be updated.
Setup
To setup a rolled up holiday scheme, follow these steps:
Navigate to Admin → Holiday Scheme
Click on "Create New"
Select "Holiday Method" as "Rolled Up" in "holiday Scheme" tab
Add relevant details, as required
Click "Save"
This holiday scheme can be assigned to workers which are to be processed as part of Rolled Up scheme.
Certain options like, Unit rounding, holiday carry over and overpayments, etc, do not apply to rolled up schemes.
Process
Workers can be assigned to rolled up scheme during worker create, alternatively, users can also assign rolled up scheme to existing users if one of the following conditions is satisfied: -
at the cleardown stage
if a worker has just been created and not assign a scheme before
if the holiday balance is zero
Holiday Payment is generated when worker is paid and has accrued holidays in processed period. The holiday payment generated cannot be updated.
Updates to worker's pay and holiday accrual will automatically adjust the system generated holiday payment to match the net pay and accruals.
Users can use, Holiday Report to find employees enrolled in rolled up schemes and their related holiday data.
