Calendar provides a centralised view of important dates and events related to payroll management. It allows users to define and track payroll deadlines, pay periods, tax years and other key milestones.
By organising these dates in one accessible location, calendar helps ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and promoting efficient workforce management.
To access a calendar, follow these steps: -
Navigate to Account → Calendar
Click on a Calendar
Select the Tax Year as required
Calendars are dependent on the account's pay frequency and do not support creating calendars of different frequency [2] [3].
Updating Calendars
PurePro provides a default calendar, based on pay frequency. However, users can edit this calendar as per their requirements [1].
To update a calendar period, follow these steps: -
Navigate to Account -> Calendar
Click on Edit button
Click the “Actions” button against the period required to be updated
Update the relevant fields
Click Update

Incrementing Calendars
By default, PurePro application only provides calendars up to current tax year and as pay periods progress, users will need to add succeeding calendars to ensure efficient payroll processing.
To add future Tax Years to the existing calendars, follow these steps: -
Navigate to Account -> Calendar
Click on Add Tax Year button
Select the tax year to add from the model
Click save

Users are required to manually add future tax years when moving from one tax year to another
Notes
Previous periods i.e. periods which have been closed already cannot be edited/updated to use different dates. Only periods which have not been closed yet can be updated.
Users cannot create multiple calendars for same frequency i.e. only 1 weekly or 1 monthly calendar is allowed in the system.
Users cannot create a different frequency calendar i.e. cannot create a monthly calendar in a weekly account.
