PurePro enables the inclusion of Backing Data directly on the invoice.
By consolidating backing data at the invoice level, billing managers gain greater flexibility and efficiency. This approach allows applicable backing data to be associated with all timesheets linked to a single invoice, eliminating the need to duplicate information across multiple entries.
As a result, the invoicing process becomes more streamlined, consistent, and easier to manage, while ensuring all required supporting information remains clearly documented and accessible for review.
Users will only be able to provide backing data at "Timesheet" level or "Invoice" level.
Setup
Backing data is driven by customer's billing scheme. To setup backing data, follow these steps -
Navigate to Admin → Billing Scheme
Edit the required Billing Scheme by clicking on "Edit" under Action
Add relevant backing data under "Backing Data" and "Custom Backing Data" as needed
Enable the required backing data as "Active" along with any other relevant options as needed e.g. "Output" and "Invoice MI Report"
Click on "Update" to save the changes

Adding Backing Data on Invoices
To add backing data onto the invoices, follow these steps -
Worker paid timesheet with "Bill Rate" to generate invoice
Navigate to Billing → Invoices
View the required invoice
Navigate to "Backing Data" tab in the left top corner
Add required backing data
Click "Save" to save the changes made

Backing Data can only be added on Proforma Invoices i.e. invoices not marked as "Confirmed" yet.
Backing data can be either be provided on "Timesheet" level or "invoice" level; If a backing data is provided is provided on any timesheet associated with the invoice, the corresponding backing data field is marked as "read only" under invoices.
Any backing data provided on the timesheet(s) will be visible in the associated invoice under the relevant timesheet reference.
In essence, backing data follows the hierarchy Timesheets → Invoices.

Viewing Backing Data on Invoices
Backing Data provided on the Invoices is not visible on the screen and is added directly onto the Invoice PDF Output.
To view the Backing Data provided on the Invoices, follow these steps -
Navigate to Billing → Invoices
View the required invoice
Click on "Download" in the bottom right corner to download a copy of the draft invoice
Backing Data is added onto the invoices sent out via PurePro control centre.
Any backing data provided on the timesheet(s) will be visible in the associated invoice under the relevant timesheet reference.
