PurePro allows employers, add and manage SPLIT (Shared Parental Leave in Touch) Days, which allows employees on shared parental leave to work up to 20 days without losing their parental leave benefits or pay.
Adding Shared Parental Leave in Touch Days
To add Shared Parental Leave in Touch (SPLIT) days for a worker, follow these steps:
Navigate to Payroll → Payment
Edit the required Statutory Shared Parental Leave by clicking on "Edit" against the payment under "Action"
Click on "Add SPLIT Day" under "Absence History"
Add relevant data, as required
Click "Save"
Users can quickly search for payments in previous deductions by adding worker's name in search bar → click enter → select "Show All" in "Period"

Users can add multiple Keep In Touch Days by selecting a longer period.
Deleting Shared Parental Leave in Touch Days
To delete a previously added SPLIT (Shared Parental Leave in Touch) day, follow these steps:
Navigate to Payroll → Payment
Edit the required Statutory Shared Parental Pay by clicking on "Edit" against the payment under "Action"
Click on "Delete SPLIT Day" against the "SPLIT Day" under "Absence History"

When processing Keep In Touch Days for a worker, PurePro application, automatically processes an absence for the worker against the related period.
