Send as Draft
PurePro system allows users to send payslips and remittances to be sent as drafts before the payroll has been closed for the period.
This option allows users to verify the payslip and remittance information and allows for any changes to be made before the payroll could be closed for the period, improving accuracy.
Users can send draft payslips for Paye workers and IR35 contractors and remittances for non IR35 contractors and supplied workers via email.
Send as draft option only applies to workers with payslip/remittance delivery method set as “email” and workers who have a valid email address in worker records.
Sending Draft Payslips and Remittances
To send draft payslips and remittances, follow these steps:
To send individual payslips/remittances as draft
To send individual payslips/remittances as drafts, follow these steps: -
Navigate to Payroll -> Payslips
View the required payslip/remittance
Click on “Send as Draft” button in the bottom right of the payslip
Check and enter the required information
Click Send
Drafts can be sent to a different email addresses when sent individually.
To send all payslips/remittances as drafts
To send all payslips and/or remittances as drafts, follow these steps: -
Navigate to Control Centre
Under “Send Payslips” Task
Click on “Send draft payslips” to send all payslips from current period as drafts
Under “Send Remittances” Task
Click on “Send draft remittances” to send all remittances from current period as drafts
Note: - This option will send draft payslip/remittance to the email address provided under worker details.
Notes: -
If in a period, there are works with payslip/remittance delivery method as “email” and/or “paper” and/or “Online”, the send as draft will only send payslips/remittances for workers with delivery method set as “email”.
No print run will be generated for draft payslips/remittances.
